Presentations:
Mon | May 4 | Sustainability in Practice: What Actually Works in Uniform Programs Today
Sustainability in uniform and workwear programs is evolving. Rather than being driven by a single set of external requirements, it is increasingly shaped by customer expectations, material innovation, operational efficiency, and the need to manage waste and risk across the supply chain.

This panel focuses on the practical side of sustainability in uniforms, image apparel, and workwear. The discussion will explore how companies are approaching materials selection, durability, testing, recycling, upcycling, and end-of-life solutions for garments used in long-term uniform programs.

Panelists will share real-world perspectives on what is working today, what remains challenging, and how sustainability efforts can support stronger customer relationships, improved service, and more resilient supply chains. Topics will include garment lifecycle thinking, waste reduction strategies, transparency, and how sustainability initiatives intersect with cost, performance, and compliance.

Each panelist will offer a short five-minute perspective from their area of expertise, followed by an open discussion and audience Q&A. This session is designed to provide attendees with realistic insight and actionable ideas they can apply within their own organizations and with their end-user customers.

Tues | May 5 | Applying AI Sizing Tools to Improve Consistency in Uniform Supply Chains
Uniform buyers face a persistent challenge: inconsistent sizing, rising return rates and the cost of managing mis-fit garments across diverse workforces. This demo shows how AI-powered sizing app, Sizekick, uses Hohenstein data to help uniform suppliers and distributors deliver more accurate fit.

Attendees will see how digital body measurement and smart size-matching can support both B2B uniform programs and B2C ordering workflows.

What Attendees Will See:

  • A live walk-through of Sizekick’s two sizing paths:
    • BodyFinder (simple height/weight inputs + body-shape selection)
    • BodyScanner (quick smartphone video scan with automated measurements)
  • Examples of how recommended sizes shift when body shape or garment parameters change
  • How garment-level information (e.g., cut, ease, stretch) influences the underlying model
  • A clear explanation of what data is captured, how it is processed and how privacy is maintained

What Attendees Will Learn:

  • How body shape variation affects uniform fit, even within the same size category
  • How fit research and measurement data contribute to more reliable size recommendations
  • Factors that influence accuracy, such as garment construction, fabric behavior and user input

Takeaways for Attendees:

  • A clear idea of how digital sizing can make uniform programs more accurate, efficient, and cost-effective
  • A realistic view of what AI sizing can solve
  • Practical guidance for how suppliers, manufacturers and distributors can pilot Sizekick with their own product lines

Why It Matters:
Fit is more than comfort. It affects safety, mobility, confidence and company image.
For companies supplying uniforms, mis-sizing leads to cost, waste and frustration.
This demonstration gives decision-makers a science-backed, practical path to better fit outcomes, fewer returns and more reliable uniform programs.
